“I have to hard-refresh three times to see the new stuff.” That was true, and it was our fault — your browser kept handing you yesterday's Warbirds. Not anymore. The newest version now just appears: the game loads fast, works offline, and when we ship an update your tab picks it up and reloads once, all by itself. No more knuckle-cracking ⌘-Shift-R.
The newest Warbirds, automatically
Every time we shipped a change, some players saw it and some didn't — the browser held onto the copy it already had and there was no clean way to shake it loose. You'd reload, get the old game, reload again, cross your fingers, and eventually the new one would turn up. It was a guessing game, and you shouldn't have to play it to see an update.
Now you don't. When a new build goes live it slips in quietly in the background, and the moment it's ready your open tab refreshes itself, once, onto the new version. One automatic reload instead of a manual game of chance — and if you're not even looking, the next time you open Warbirds it's simply the latest, every time.
Fast, and always fresh where it counts
The game still loads quick and keeps working when your connection drops — the parts that don't change are held ready so a return visit snaps straight in. But anything live now always comes through fresh: your daily missions, the leaderboard, and your pilot card are pulled new every time instead of showing an old copy. No more staring at an hours-stale leaderboard and wondering why reloading won't fix it.
Same game. Fewer refreshes — ideally, none you have to do yourself.
